We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Tester and Agile Senior Tester to join our team, working with a leading German company that provides innovative solutions for big businesses.
As a Seniors Testers in our agile team, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the quality and stability of a vital project aimed at optimizing internal and external communication for our client. You’ll work closely with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to design, execute, and analyze a comprehensive testing strategy, ensuring every feature functions flawlessly.

AS TESTERS, YOU’LL HAVE THE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and execute manual, automated, and end-to-end tests for internal communication (BA-SOA & REST services, Kafka), external communication (judiciary, legal profession), basic functionalities (persistence, logging, mapping), and support functionalities (housekeeping, monitoring, administration)
• Develop and maintain test scripts and automation frameworks to improve test efficiency and coverage
• Analyze requirements documents to identify testable features and create comprehensive test cases
• Estimate efforts for test case creation and execution
• Collaborate with developers to identify and resolve defects efficiently
• Participate in sprint planning and retrospectives to contribute to continuous improvement of the testing process
• Prepare and document test reports for stakeholders
• Support test process/defect process optimizations
• Perform incident and problem processing (2nd/3rd level support)

FOR THE AGILE TESTER POSITION:

• Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and their application in software testing
• Experience working in cross-functional teams in an Agile environment
• Ability to adapt to changing requirements and prioritize tasks effectively

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, COMPETENCIES, AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a demonstrably equivalent level of practical experience
• 5 + years of experience as a software tester
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies, particularly Scrum
• Experience with various testing techniques (manual, automated, exploratory)
• Proficiency in testing tools like Cucumber, Playwright or similar
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience with IT project management methodologies
• Experience with unit testing frameworks like JUnit and API testing tools like Karate
• Proficient in English for technical communication
• An intermediate level of German and the ability to communicate verbally in a proficient manner
