WHO WE NEED
We are seeking a skilled AQA Engineer with expertise in using the Cucumber tool and a strong background in Behavior Driven Development (BDD).

These comprehensive workflows facilitate the development of novel automation and applications, fostering stronger connections among businesses, partners, suppliers, and vendors.
As an AQA Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products by designing and executing comprehensive automated test scenarios. Your focus on Cucumber and BDD methodologies will be instrumental in aligning testing efforts with business objectives and user expectations.
PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement automated test scenarios using Cucumber and BDD principles
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and user stories
- Create and maintain clear, concise, and executable test documentation
- Identify, document, and track software defects to resolution
- Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning and review meetings
- Work closely with developers to understand application changes and updates
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies
- Execute performance and load testing as required
- Stay current with industry best practices and emerging trends in AQA, Cucumber, and BDD
- Provide timely and detailed test reports to stakeholders
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, COMPETENCIES AND EXPERIENCE
- At least 3+ years as a AQA on web commercial projects
- Proven experience as an AQA Engineer with a focus on Cucumber and BDD
- Strong proficiency in writing clear, concise, and maintainable automated test scripts
- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and practices
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration tools
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Familiarity with performance and load testing tools and methodologies
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Continuous learning mindset with a commitment to staying updated on industry advancements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- An upper-intermediate level of English and the ability to communicate verbally in a proficient manner
ADDITIONAL SKILLS THAT WILL BE AN ADVANTAGE
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- Experience in testing web APIs using such tools like Postman or similar
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
