WHO WE NEED

We are seeking a talented IT Security Expert to join a team at a dynamic German company that empowers large clients to optimize, simplify, and scale their businesses.
As the point of contact for all things IT security, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our client’s systems and data. You will have a deep understanding of security methodologies like SIA and ISMS, and extensive experience with penetration testing, security assessments, code reviews, and production approvals.

AS A IT SECURITY EXPERT, YOU’LL HAVE THE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Serve as the go-to expert for all security-related concerns, inquiries, and activities
• Develop and maintain crucial IT security documentation, including threat catalogs and vSiKo documents
• Perform thorough evaluations and assessments of security risks, test results, and the security implications of backlog items
• Derive actionable measures and tasks for the implementation team to address identified risks and vulnerabilities
• Collaborate with various stakeholders across the organization to ensure the effectiveness of security policies and procedures
• Stay abreast of the evolving cybersecurity landscape by actively researching emerging threats and mitigation strategies
• Proactively identify and recommend improved security measures to enhance the overall security posture

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, COMPETENCIES, AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a demonstrably equivalent level of practical experience
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in IT security within a corporate environment
• In-depth knowledge of security methodologies like SIA, ISMS, and relevant standards
• Solid understanding of penetration testing, security assessments, code reviews, and production security practices
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to assess security risks and propose effective solutions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in industry-standard security tools and technologies
• In-depth knowledge of JIRA, Confluence and Office products
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in English for technical communication
